Rye or Wheat

Ever feel bloated after eating bread? You may have a wheat intolerance. Some people find foods such as pasta and bread hard to digest. This is because pasta absorbs water, so it swells in the body and causes discomfort.

Try eating rye bread made from whole rye flour, its high in fibre and low in fat, making it perfect for helping with weight loss and banishing that bloat feeling.

This is the brand that I use but there are other brands out there and you can also make your own which I will start doing in the next few weeks.

When eating rye bread you will feel fuller for longer compared to when you eat wheat bread it has something to do with the high water binding capability which causes it to expand in your intestines hence the fuller for longer feeling.
