Vitamin Water

If you’re trying to steer clear of sugary drinks, this refreshing blend of veg, fruits and herbs will satisfy your taste buds plus it's far better than the vitamin water you find in the shops.

Water is good for us, it helps flush nasty toxins and waste through our system, giving organs like the liver and kidney an easier time doing their job.

Mint leaves are a nice refreshing flavor to add to your drink. Not only do they aid in digestion they improve the flow of bile from the liver, to the gallbladder, to the small intestine, where it breaks down dietary fats. Mint also helps relax cramped up stomach muscles.

Cucumber contains the organic compound citrulline, which is an amino acid that has been shown to help the liver and kidneys filter and get rid of ammonia. So it's a great diuretic.

Strawberries are high in vitamin C and In addition, strawberries contain folate, a B vitamin that has been associated with reduced risk of several cancers as well as a decreased risk for birth defects, such as spina bifida. It also contributes to strong, healthy hair and vibrant skin. 


Slice up half a cucumber, 6 Strawberries and put them into a jug or pitcher.

Slice half a lemon and toss in.  Add a handful of fresh mint leaves about 6 and pour in bottled or filtered water, filling the jug/pitcher all the way to the top. Let this sit overnight in the fridge and let all the yummy flavours steep and infuse the water.

When ready to drink throw some ice in a glass, pour and enjoy.

Your Vitamin water should be drank within 2 days of making, in my case it's not going to last long at all. Lol
