Homemade Shea Butter & Coconut Oil Body Moisturiser for Dry Skin

Summer is over here in England, sad face but I thought I'd share my daily moisturiser that I use with you and can be used all year round.

I've been using Shea Butter mixed with Coconut oil for a while now and love the stuff, its moisturising, good for your skin and has its own natural SPF (sun protection factor). My skin always feels so soft and supple, plus youthful looking.


Shea Butter has a SPF 6 perfect for dark skin or for fair skin in low sun levels & Coconut Oil SPF 10 but that does depend on the quality of the coconut oil that you use, make sure you can get the best.

I purchase my shea butter online on ebay and it comes in a block..



In a bowl add shea butter & coconut oil and mix with a hand mixer if you have one together until light and creamy, then add 10 drops of Lavender & Ylang Ylang essential oils or whatever essential oil to like just to preserve it and mix again. Place your creamy contents into a plastic container and keep in a cool place and away from sunlight.
