Amelia Freer talks Nutrition at The Juicery - 108 Marylebone Lane

Another amazing event hosted at The Juicery pop-up at 108 Marylebone Lane for a morning with the rather stunning renowned nutritional therapist Amelia Freer.

The morning started off with a delicious wake-up shot of Ginger, Lemon & Cayenne Pepper. I didn't get a picture as I downed it in one..Oops!! Then came one of Amelia's signature green juices, Graceful Greens pictured above - Spinach, Kale, cucumber, parsley, lime, mint & Jax Coco Water...Mmmm followed by a mini breakfast - Chia Pudding & Greek yoghurt with granola and mixed berries.

Amelia spoke a little about herself and why she became a nutritionist, explaining that due to health issues she decided this was the path she was going to take, so gave up her job and studied for 4 years. While Amelia was talking I found myself nodding my head to every word (very much like churchhill the nodding dog) in agreement to the health complaints she's experienced, how they were almost identical to my own health issues, which is one of my main reasons for embarking on a healthier lifestyle.

Amelia then went on to speaking about how she encourages and educates her clients by helping them eat healthily.  If one of her clients was a fast food fanatic, she wouldn't make them go cold turkey, but offer them a cleaner version of that food that they loved instead.

Amelia opened up the discussion to a Q & A which brought up some really good questions.

I found the session to be most informative, and have taken some mental nourishment away to implement in my own health journey.

Here's a photo of me and very inspirational fellow Health & Fitness Blogger Danielle who blogs over at This Womans Word Do check out her blog.
