Reboot your System with Joe Cross Juice Diet

Joe Cross, from the film Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead, hosted a breakfast morning at The Juicery 180 Marylebone Lane.

We enjoyed a juice call 'Joe's Mean Green' (Green Juice)
Cucumber, Celery, Apple, Kale, Lemon and Ginger, absolutely delish.

Before now, I had never heard of Joe Cross and was intrigued to hear his story of how he lost weight just through juicing. Joe told us of his personal health journey and how he came about juicing to good health. At the age of 32 he became very ill and was told by the doctor that he would be on medication for the rest of his life. Joe was later diagnosed with chronic urticaria a disease which would make his skin come up in a rash, swell and be very painful.

The day after his 40th birthday it was like he had gotten a wake up call, he was weighing in at 320lb (221/2 stone). He decided enough was enough and wanted to get himself well, with the medical assistances of his doctor Joe went on a 60 day juice fast and was on his way to great health.

A typical diet for some people is 60% Process, 33% animal or 7% plant food. We need to get more fruit, veg, seeds & nuts into our diets and of course exercise. After about 90 days of just having a plant base diet Joe was medication free.

Joe set us a challenge of juicing for 10 days to see what benefits we would gain from it. I'm unsure how I would cope with juice for 10 days but was told that you can do it with food too. I have decided I will do a 3 day reboot and see how I get on. Who knows, if I can do 3, then 10 days is nothing, Joe did 60.

I left the event buzzing with a copy of his book in hand, that evening I told my husband all about it and we ended up watching his movie, what a remarkable film, a must watch, it brought tears to my eyes (I'm so soppy). I'm now looking for a juicer to purchase and can't wait to get involved.

Joe now travels the world inspiring people to eat right. If you would like to learn more about Joe then check out his website

Thanks to the guys at The Juicery - 108 Marylebone for the invite to an awesome inspirational morning.
