Keepfit Bootcamp – Hosted by Legal & General

Legal & General are promoting Healthy Living Initiative and have teamed up with Keepfit Bootcamp to get you fit & healthy. Keepfit Bootcamp is all about working hard, but sticking to your own pace and setting results.

On the morning of the Bootcamp I was feeling rather poorly but mustered up the strength to get out of bed and get ready for the morning madness. I left the house in good time and arrived at the venue which was based at International Students House (near Great Portland Street) in good time.

There were about 10 bloggers including myself from different niches (fitness/beauty/health) attending.

Our Trainer Gabriel Orayinka warmed us up with some aerobic exercises to get the heart pumping.

A variety of circuit stations were setup and we were split up into groups, I teamed up with Zoe from London & Me and we started off with some lunges.

Circuits Station Exercises
Lunges
Bench Bunny Hops
Skipping
Bicycle Crunches
Burpees with lateral dumbbell rises
Planks
Squats with overhead weighted ball
Mountain Climbers

Im sure I’ve missed off a couple of exercise that we did but my head is still full of cold. I consider myself quite a fit person but I'm not going to lie I found the exercises hard, I'm going to blame it on not feeling very well...yep! I'm blaming the sickness.Lol

After two rounds of each exercise we moved onto Boxing. Zoe who I had teamed up with from the beginning of the session made this session most enjoyable, it was nice to have a little giggle almost the panting, pain & sweat. We were having problems with the boxing combinations but we managed a good workout which was the main thing.

I love boxing and really should try and find a class to attend, love letting rip, it’s a shame there wasn't a bag to hit that would have been awesome.. On the whole it was a really good class and would recommend anyone to go give Keepfit Bootcamp a try. If your looking to lose weight or get fit & healthy this will do it.

The hour session had me sweating to the point sweat started burning my eyes, It was a really enjoyable morning and glad I attended. I left on a high and went home for a nice hot shower and a protein overload pancake.
