DRINKMaple Water || Straight From The Tree || Product Review

Will this be as popular as our beloved coconut water? Now that is the question!

Drink Maple was founded by Jeff Rose & Co-founder Kate Weider after they were introduced to it during an Ironman triathlon in Canada when they stumbled upon it in a coffee shop. Intrigued by the subtle taste they worked hard to introduce this low-calorie beverage to the local New England market.
One Ingredient & 46 Nutrients: Straight From The Tree

Maple (water) sap is collected from Vermont Maple trees in the spring and is naturally hydrating. Maple water is pasteurised to retain its minerals and nutrients.

Although there is not a lot of research into the health benefits, due to it being new on the block well not that new but newer than Coconut water. It claims the following benefits..
  • Mineral Rich
  • Antioxidants
  • Prebiotics
  • Full of Electrolytes
  • Low in Sugar - less than coconut water
  • Organic Acid
  • High in Manganese - higher than a cup of kale -Thyroid & bone health benefits
  • Anti-inflammatory
  • Gluten Free
  • Dairy Free
  • Vegan
  • Non- GMO

It's clear, natural with nothing added. I'm loving the taste, I didn't know what to expect really....when I think about maple I think sticky, sweet and if you have too much quite sicken. But that wasn't the case at all.

Did you ever add sugar to your water when you were a kid?.. *hides face* Well I did...I wasn't a fan of water at all, so that was what it reminded me of, it is very subtle in sweetness and very refreshing. I tried it out during an Insanity class and I felt pretty hydrated and energised.

I'm still very much in love with coconut water although maple water is a coming in as a very strong contender. To learn more about DrinkMaple and where you can purchase visit the website here.
