Overnight Nut Butter Oats

Looking for an easy tasty breakfast you can take away and eat on the go? Then this cashew nut butter overnight oats is the one, to keep you satisfied till lunchtime. Thick, creamy and simply divine, and only takes a few minutes to make.

1/2 cups of gluten free rolled oats
1/2 cups unsweetened almond milk
2 Tbsps cashew nut butter (smooth or crunchy)
1/4 tsp cinnamon
3/4 tsp chia seeds
1/4 tsp of nutmeg
1/4 tsp vanilla extract
1 tbsp agave nectar - or any sweetener of your choice

Add topping of your choice
Sliced banana, strawberries.... I topped mine with coconut yoghurt and strawberries. :-)

  1. Add to your mason jar, almond milk, chia seeds, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla extract, agave nectar and cashew nut butter, stir to combine. The nut butter doesn't need to be completely mixed with the almond milk.
  2. Add oats and stir to ensure all oats have been immersed in almond milk.
  3. Cover securely with a lid and set in refrigerator overnight.
  4. In the morning add your topping of choice.
